Industrial Wastewater Treatment in Saudi Arabia and UAE
The Middle East’s water supply is under tremendous strain due to increasing population and urbanization. The water shortage can be addressed with a sustainable water cycle and wastewater can become a big source of water to satisfy the growing need.
In addition, environmental concerns require mitigation of the harmful effects of industrial waste on water, land, air, and agricultural products, as well as effective disposal of industrial effluents. The best wastewater treatment facilities in the Saudi Arabia, UAE hand the rest of the Middle East can positively impact water conservation and minimize water loss.
MEFT International’s Industrial Wastewater Treatment
MEFT International is known across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA countries) for customised advanced industrial waste water treatment solutions. We employ the latest wastewater treatment technologies for efficient removal of heavy metals, BOD, COD and TSS.

MEFT International’s industrial wastewater treatment plants are designed based on the –
- type of industrial waste
- water analysis report
- the latest technology
- cost effective design
The MEFT industrial treatment system utilizes DAF or Dissolved Air Floatation process to clarify wastewater by removing suspended matter, such as oil or solids. DAF involves dissolving air in the wastewater under pressure. The air is then released at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank or basin. The released air forms tiny bubbles, which cling to the suspended matter. This suspended matter floats to the surface of the water and is removed by a skimming device.
The MEFT industrial wastewater system can be installed and commissioned to meet the water quality needs in sewage and industrial wastewater treatment, followed by filtration and advanced MBR technology with hollow fiber membranes for the generation of high-quality water. The water treated by combining these processes can then be used in reuse or recycling applications.
